Do it yourself

Hermione's clever enough to know that using a light amount of makeup will make her features more defined, and doesn't feel the need to put on lots of it. After all, it's her personality that stands out more! This is a very natural look that we often see on Hermione (in fact, she wears it throughout almost all seven films). Because her skin is smooth and clear, she doesn't go heavy on foundation and powder. This is a wonderfully versatile and easy look that can be achieved by anyone and goes with any outfit or hairstyle, and the best part is, you can play it up, whether it's for school, or a special occasion.

Step #1
An important part of preparing for this makeup look is to wash your face. Use your normal cleanser, and make sure to moisturize plenty afterward. Hermione's skin is smooth and flawless in this scene, which is what we want to achieve with foundation. Apply your foundation in little dots on your cheeks, chin, forehead, and down your nose, then blend with a stippling brush (it gives the most natural effect). If you're using mineral foundation, only apply a light dusting to your face using a big, fluffy brush. Cover stray blemishes and dark circles using concealer, if necessary. Afterwards, apply a sweep of powder (skip if you're using mineral foundation) to set your foundation. If Hermione is wearing any blush, it appears to be a very light dusting, so keep it natural if you decide to put some on.

Step #2
Hermione's eyebrows are quite defined throughout the whole film series, and they frame her eyes nicely. If you feel the need to fill in your brows to achieve the same effect, you can do so by applying a brow pencil (the color of your eyebrows or close to it) in feathery strokes, or even applying eyeshadow (such as Alima Pure's eyeshadows in Ash, Auburn, Blond, Brunette, or Raven). Concentrate on filling in the ends, but don't overdo it! To finish your eyes, apply a light coat of mascara, just enough to define your eyelashes.

Step #3
Finish off this look with a sweeping of lip balm to keep your lips moisturized.
